Shirley R. Peterson, CPA
Shirley R. Peterson, CPA, joined SWBC in 2016, after an extensive career in Public Accounting. As Accounting Manager of SWBC Payroll + HR, Shirley is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks of a four-person Accounting Team. The Accounting Team interacts with other SWBC Payroll + HR teams as well as clients in ensuring that the fiduciary responsibilities with which we are entrusted are performed timely and efficiently.
Prior to joining SWBC Payroll + HR in 2016, Shirley was engaged in public accounting with a primary focus of auditing small businesses and a secondary focus of general tax practice.
Shirley received her BBA in Accountancy and Information Systems in 1990 from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years.
